decent hosts in the UK

Can anyone give me any decent hosts names in the UK, I dont mind if they are
a small company just as long as they have a good support system in place,
and better still a phone number! The host I have been using hasnt given me
any problems up until now, just when I need him hes not answering emails etc
and doesn't have a phone number to contact him at! Grrrr.

Would prefer a referral rather than me just surfing for one
