Default DATA BINDINGS - DATA SOURCE - 04-22-2004 , 02:51 PM

I am trying to use the Bindings application in "code & design" view and, when I
try to look at the record set, I get a window telling me that "This server
behavior requires a Cold Fusion Dat Source". I have set up the ODBC drivers
correctly, tested the data source and everything works fine on the site. I
would like to use the data binding but keep getting this error. Can anyone
help?

Try checking your Site Definition, specifically the testing server category

Try doing the test in the TechNote below.

Application server and web server test pages
http://www.macromedia.com/support/dreamweaver/ts/documents/app_server_test2.htm
section: Application server test > ColdFusion

I am having problems establishing a datalink. I am working with .NET VB
document type. Trying to establish a link to an access database. I have set
up the localhost on IIS v5.1. The testing the local server reports
"successful." I have deployed supporting files to the server's /bin folder.

When I try and create a dataset, the tables are not recognized.

How do I access the database tables?

Thank you.

Robert

I have a similair problem, when I click on the Bindings TAB, The program just
hangs for awhile then does not allow me to add and or pres the" + " sign on the
tab. I also noticed item # 3 should have a check mark but it does not. I tried
numerous times to configure the site definition and still no dice.

I have been using the book "Training from the Source- Studio MX" everything
had gone fine until now. I did install "IIS" from my windows XP disk and also
installed ColdFusion 6.1 - So I figure it must be in the configuration of
these some how. I followed the book letter for letter and I just don't get what
I might have done wrong!

So please anybody that could help me it would be great, I really want to
finish this "Training from the Source- Studio MX" book - dynamic web page
content is my next big hurdle !!
