cut and paste error message

I am using MX2004. All of a sudden it has stopped allowing me to use
control>shift to create line breaks. It is also giving me the following error
message when I try to cut and paste within the editable region of a template:

"While executing onLoad in
PasteFireworksHTML.htm, the following JavaScript error(s) occurred:

In file ""PasteFireworksHTML"":
ReferenceError: initialize is not defined."

I would be very grateful for any suggestions as to what may have changed. I
didn't have any crashes or other problems leading up to this, at least nothing
I am aware of.

I fixed these problems myself by reinstalling the software.
