Customizing DWMX2004 - hiding portions of code from the design view

Hi,

I want to know how to hide selections of code from the design view.

I have created a coloring definition to color any content between two
bits of text - <: and :> and now I want to stop this being displayed
in the design view, also if possible display one of those small yellow
icons for quick navigation to the code.

Any help would be appreciated.
