Default CSS Menus - 06-28-2008 , 10:25 PM

I created the menus on this page -
http://www.wolffsystem.com/newsite/articles.html - only to find out that using
Fireworks is not the best way to achieve this. I was kindly directed to
www.projectseven.com where I went through their tutorial (excellent!) and then
changed some things to come up with this
http://demosites.indyne.com/wolff_me.../homepage.html. My
questions are: how do I put the menus into a table like the on on the articles
page above so they are a certain wide and not 100%. Also is there an easy way
to put line in between each dropdown menu item like the ones created in
Fireworks? Thank you so much for your help!

Create a table above or below the menu, style it as you want it, then move
the #menuwrapper DIV into the top table row, like this:

Thanks Al for the great example. How do I make it 100% within the table...so the menu stretches all the way across?

Hi Al,
I wanted to say "thank you" for all your help with the CSS menus. You gave a
wonderful example and instructions! I'm sorry that I didn't say this to you
before now. I was having some major computer problems and I am just now
getting back to this. Blessings on your day.

Carol

Al,

The menu's with dropdown have not been taken over in DW8 which means I have to
remake them in DW8 but I don't know how.

Here are the links to the pages (the old ones) so you know what I mean with
the menu-dropdowns

http://www.loyaltoxena.com
http://www.loyaltoxena.com/NEWZEALAND/XENA-LUCY-LAND

http://www.loyaltoxena.com/NEWZEALAN...ions/bethellsb
each.html

These dropdown I do need to create again in DW8.

If you could help me out that would be awsome.

You can always drop me a line if you want to.

Kind regards
Martine

The old DW pop-up menus were never a good idea....

http://www.losingfight.com/blog/2006...menufw_menujs/

The right way to do them is discussed in the links I have already given
you -

Check the uberlink and MacFly tutorials at PVII -
http://www.projectseven.com/

and the Navbar tutorial/articles at Thierry's place
http://tjkdesign.com/articles/dropdown/

Or this one (more recent article):
http://tjkdesign.com/articles/Pure_C...down_Menus.asp

Or to get it done fast, go here -
