Default CSS Menu and Flash Layer issues - 07-02-2008 , 02:02 PM

Hi,

I'm working on a site that has a horizontal html CSS drop down menu, with a
flash animation just below the first level of the CSS menu. The problem is, I
can't see the drop down menu buttons, there being displayed behind the flash
animation. How can I change the layers or levels of these two objects, so the
CSS menu is positioned and displayed over the Flash animation. I can send you
a link of what I'm talking about.

All Active content on a page will always rise to the top, so to speak,
including Flash, certain form elements, Java applets, and Active X controls.
This means that each of these will poke through layers. There is not a good
cross-browser/platform reliable way to solve this issue, but if you can be
confident in your visitors using IE 5+ or NN6+, then you can use the Flash
wmode parameter (however, Safari does not support this properly!).

Take a look at this site. When your on the "amenities" page, he has a swf with
scrollable text just below the menu, but the html menu "models" still works and
is on the layer above the swf. I have a similar layout and want to keep the css
menu and have an swf on the layer below it. How can I achieve this?
