Default CSS issues - 10-01-2003 , 03:28 AM

Well, this may or may not be a new one.
I have been workimg on a site in MX for MAC OSX. I've done this dozens of times before (in previous Dreamweaver versions) with no problems, but now, I sit here at midnight completely perplexed.

My CSS consists of VERY simple formatting info for text, background colors etc.

Everything was going along fine and then BAM! Suddenly when I previewed my page one of my styles was not being displayed. So naturally I fixed it by re-creating that particular style (dark colored text). Then when I previewed it again, it was fine but BAM! now another style had dropped off (header font)...

Anyway, this just keeps happening over and over and over.

So now Im here.

Any ideas?

MX2004?

Is it opening the stylesheet when you edit it via DW?

If the answers are yes then alter the preferences so DW does not automatically open edited stylesheets. That's got a few of us already. It doesn't save all the styles when used this way.

Other than that I haven't come across anything else that may cause this.

Mark

Thanks. I'll try that. What a pain.
It does open the style sheet as a matter of fact. And now that you pointed it out I realize that that was the genesis of the problems.

Hopefully I just got caught in a familiar trap.

Thanks for the reply.
