css inheritance

Why does the left submenu look different in IE than in FF/NN?

I've looked at my CSS for #leftnav and it's submenu, but I can't see why IE
would interpret the submenu to have bold font and the top <li> to have not
bottom border.

Is my CSS in the wrong order for inheritance purposes?

I'll bet if you fix the errrors in your ul your problems will be cured.
