Default css help - 11-01-2005 , 05:47 PM

Hi

I wonder if someone could clarify something for me as I am a bit confused,

I have made a gif file which will act as my content box. I understand that
normally you would make a a table of 3x3 and then slice the gif up.

But how do you add a content box in css do you need to slice the gif or do you
use the whole picture in a table of 1x1?

Would appreciate some help on this as I am a bit confused.

Regards
lojo

"Normally" you don't slice at all. What's a content box? Will all the
page content be put into that and therefore be restricted in width and
height? Pretty bad.

What are you trying to achieve?

Why not simply use it as a background image?
