I've downloaded the trial version of Dreamweaver CS3 for Windows three times now and when I click to execute it on my desktop it shows a 'file transfer' process and then....nothing. No application - trial or otherwise - can be found anywhere on my PC. It's about 235mbs sor there's something there....It doesn't appear in the programme files and when I look in the extracted folder there's no application of any kind. This has to be a mistake, right? I'm using Windows XP. |

The filesize is correct. I'm running a Sony Vaio - about 18 months old. It should have no problem with the application. The folder - Adobe CS3 - is extracted on my desktop. It contains the following 1) a 'Payloads' Folder 2) a 'resources' folder 3) a 'redist' folder 4) various other items including a 'setup' icon. When I click the setup icon it displays a window showing a file copying process and the message 'Adobe setup'. This finishes, the window closes and then - nothing. Windows explorer is subsequently unable to find any trace of the trial application on my PC. It is not in the programs folder and it doesn't appear anywhere else. Paul |
