Greetings ALL,
I am getting into the web design arena and some of my friends have
asked me to do websites for them.
Here is a site that I did in Photoshop
CS2/ImageReadyCS2/DreamweaverMX2004 ::
http://www.rodgerslawnservice.com/
As you can tell I basically just exported slices from ImageReady
straight to DW, with no thought of optimization. Hence the site's file
size on the server is 7.25MB and mostly images which on a dial-up
connection is brutal.
I'm now undergoing a site makeover using just Fireworks 8 & Dreamweaver
8. Currently the file size is leaner @1.20 MB. I would like to get
some feedback from my peers on things that I am doing/not doing right.
Any tips on speeding site download would be great // currently all
JPEGS are Optimized with Fireworks 8 at JPEG Smaller File || 70 Quality

At this point, I'm just waiting on some more content from the client --

so it's incomplete.
