Default Creating Link of .pdf file - 02-16-2009 , 05:07 AM

I am unable to create "filename.pdf" link using property inspector. How can I
do it?

I am able to create a link "filename.htm" and able to open the page in
browser. On simlar grounds, I created "filename.pdf" link and not able to open
the pdf file in browser.

What are the tips and steps to do it in Dreamweaver 8? Or How can I create a
pdf file download feature?

Thanks

Can you post a link to a web page where you have created a ".pdf" link which
does not work?

<Or How can I create a pdf file download feature?>

To open pdf files in the browser, your site visitors need the free Acrobat
Reader and required browser plug-ins installed on their system.

The simplest way to make this a download is to zip the pdf file. Most
systems will treat a zip file as a download. Or you could use a
force-download script like this one
