Hi there,
Thanks for checking my post out...
I have made a website in HTML using Dreamweaver MX 2004 - the link is at
www.spindriftmedia.com/clients/charliegeorge.
How would I go about centering the site so whatever size monitor it is viewed
on, the site will always be in the centre length and width ways?
Also, when you go to the biography section in IE, you can see the scrollbar
that moves the page left to right - can someone please tell me how I can get
rid of this (still want the up/down one though). I've set the iFrame scroll to
"auto" but is this wrong?
My scrollbars should be in custom colours, here is what my style sheet says:
body{
margin:0;
padding:0;
background-color: #000000;
scrollbar-face-color: #a0a000;
scrollbar-highlight-color: #f0f000;
scrollbar-shadow-color: #606000;
scrollbar-3dlight-color: #a0a000;
scrollbar-arrow-color: #ffff00;
scrollbar-track-color: #c0c000;
scrollbar-darkshadow-color: #000000;
}
td {
bg colour: #000000;
font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;
font-size: 10px;
line-height: 14px;
}
form {
margin: 0;
padding: 0;
}
a:link {
COLOR: #E9E9E9;
text-decoration: none;
}
a:visited {
COLOR: #FFFFFF;
text-decoration: none;
}
a:hover {
COLOR: #FFFFFF;
TEXT-DECORATION: none;
}
a:active {
COLOR: #CC0000;
}
.index_copyright { font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;
font-size: 7pt; color: #CCCCCC}
.text { font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 9pt;
color: #E9E9E9}
.textfield { font-family: Verdana,Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10px; color:
#000000}
Are there any problems with the style sheet as the scrollbars are still being
shown in classic Windows colours?
Any help on any of the above problems would be most kindly appreciated.
Thank you very much and I hope to hear from you.
Take care,
Mark
