Default copy file outside rootfolder in MX 2004? - 01-02-2005 , 06:15 AM

I may be mistaken, but I seem to remember a dialog box popping up in
earlier versions of DW when I wanted to insert an image from outside the
rootfolder: "This file is outside your root folder, do you want to copy
it?" Or something to that effect.

Is that still there in DW MX 2004? Nothing pops up when I attempt such an
insert. Have I perhaps inadvertently turned it off? (Preferences > General

Show dialog box when inserting objects is checked)
I need the warning! (getting old and forgetful).

Thanks for your help and best wishes for everybody on the forum, especially
of course for Murray, and for Osgood and Gary and all other patient and
kind helpers.

It's likely you have defined a default images folder for the site. In this
case, the image is automatically copied there without asking.
