connecting to server

I am having trouble connecting to me server when I test my connection it works
fine, but when I try to connect Dreamweaver says could not connect to server,
Dreamweaver could not determine the remote access time?

The select newer and syncronize commands will not be available. Could someone
help me out.....

Enable passive FTP for the Remote site definition.
