You can clear a tables height and/or width in the properties box.

Somethings is bugging me, like an itch you can't scratch. What happened to

the DTD that should be automatically inserted when you create a new document
or template?

Terry (with a feeling I've missed something and Micha and Murray are going

The html 4.01 transitional is probably right for you I'd say

Highlight the table tag in the bottom left of DW and delete the height in
the property inspector.

default...which is why my pages don't have it yet.

I didn't say that and I can't take the credit for someone else's
post, even though I do use Lynx for testing :-)

I know, I just said that because Joe gave you credit earlier for mentionning
FF and the developer tools extension

No problem.

What other browsers are worth having for checking purposes?

Currently I test with IE 5, IE 6, Opera 7.22, Mozilla 1.5, NN4 and Lynx.
Should be enough in most cases.
