Column sorting functionality with DW

Hello,

before converting to DW, we used to use a program called Lotus Domino to
develop web pages. The program sucked for creating clean code, but one feature
I liked, is the easability to create columns where you can sort links
alphabetically ascending and descending by clicking on an up or down arrow. I
believe this was done by using javascript, but I'm not certain. I was wondering
if anybody could enlighten me on this and if it is done with js, provide a
better solution?

Do you want this for static content or dynamic content?

For static tables, JavaScript sorting is the way to go. Here are a few
