Default Coding not Coloured - 11-10-2004 , 04:37 PM

I am new to Dreamweaver and currently using someones PC to develop a website
but the code is just black on a white background, i have gone to
Edit/Preferences and selected 'Code Coloring' and that shows colours in the
code for say html but when Ok'd it still does not show the code in anything but
black.

Any suggestions

This usually means that DW is not recognizing the page as containing HTML.
What is the file extension?

Go to View > Code View Options and make sure that Syntax Coloring is
turned on. It's a toggle command, so if it does not have a check mark
next to it, then select it to turn it on.

HTH,
Randy
