Default Cleint access area - 11-01-2004 , 11:26 AM

I wish to set up a secure area for client only access via a user name and
password.
I am aware of use of htaccess files which my host supports.
But wish set access to certain areas by the use of a form on a clients
access page i.e the client puts a user name and password in via form then
presses submit assuming password is correct goes to his area is this
possible and how do I set it up.
Sorry for what maybe simple question to you fine experts out there
Many thanks
Ian

As it happens, I am about to release an Extension to do just this very
thing, without the need of a database. If you would like to be a final
phase beta tester, email me directly. (replace ' at ' with '@' below)
