Default Clear links when navigating backwards - 08-13-2008 , 09:55 PM

Hello,

When I hit the 'back' button after clicking a link on my page, the link is highlighted. Is there a way to clear that?

Thanks.

Sure, just click somewhere else on the page, so that the link loses its
focus. This is also a somewhat browser-specific behaviour. Some browsers
might still show the link in the active state if you return to the page,
others might just show him as visited.

Actually, I meant within the dreamweaver code so that a user does not see it.
This also happens with mouse over images that are links - when I hit the 'back'
button, the previous page still shows the mouse over image, not the original
image. I'm looking for code to correct this.

As said - it's a browser thing. Some do it, some don't. Maybe you could
post a URL and say where it happens and which browser you use.
