Default Clean up HTML not working - 07-08-2004 , 12:05 PM

Hello,

I just upgraded to MX 2004 and the Clean Up HTML function is not working. I
used it in the previous version, frequently , but when I activate it on a page
now, I receive a "Nothing to Clean Up!" message when there is clearly a lot of
cleanup needed. I even tried the Specific Tag feature to remove font tags from
the page where there is clearly font tags and still receive the "Nothing to
Clean Up!" message. I have tried it on many many pages and none have worked.
Then when I open the same page in the previous version of Dreamweaver and try
the Clean Up HTML function, it works perfectly on the same page that doesn't
work in 2004.

Any thoughts on how to get this to work?

Thanks
Clint

Did you make sure it had browsers to check for errors because if you have none checked well then it's not going to find anything.

Show me the code on a page where you get this message, and tell me what you
are expecting it to clean up?

Did you click the radio button to enable that function? Most new users
forget to do this.

It works for me. With your code, I can tell you how to make it work for
you.
