Default changing links of images all at once - 11-03-2004 , 07:41 AM

Hi,

I created from a word document a HTML document. Automatically he creates a
seperate folder with all attached images to that document. Now I'm pasting
this document on my site, however all images still have links to that
particular folder that was created automatically. I copied all the images to
my folder at my site. I know how to adjust these links to the folder
underneath my site one by one. But my question is, can I also do it all at
once. That would make life much easier. And it is a large document with a lot
of images.

thanks
Inge

Inge,

You should be able to perform a find/replace of the path(s) that lead to
your images. If you look in the Code view of Dreamweaver, you will see the
actual HTML that Word and Dreamweaver have put together for you.

Dreamweaver's find/replace dialog allows you to search for normal text,
for source code, and for other possibilities. Look at your source code,
find the path or paths you need to change, then carefully construct a
find/replace for "source code".
