CF on OSX

Has anyone in the group gotten CF up and running with MySql on OSX and
understand all the settings. I've been trying to find good resources but
have been coming up dry. The only one I've seen to date is O'Reilly's
but hasn't been updated or continued. I've gotten CFMX running on Tomcat
on OSX but this as far as the MM instructions go and as far as I have
gotten. My questions is how to plug it into MySql, how to get Apache to
use the CF root to serve up pages so that I don't have to type in the
port #(just type up "localhost or 127.0.0.1)? What is the correct root
folder for CFMX? Where are good resources on tuning and configuring CFMX
for OSX. Help would be greatly appreciated.
