Default centering layers vertically - 11-04-2005 , 06:18 AM

i put a table into dw (1 col, 1 row, 100%), insert a layer and place an image
into the layer. If I resize the window horizontally the image re-centres fine
with no problems. If I resize vertically then it does not re-centre.

i guess there is some setting that i am missing - any help would be
appreciated - thank you

skjc

Try adding a border value to the table to see if it is stretching to the
full height of the window.

Hmm - no layers there -

<body>
<table height="100%" border="5" align="center" bordercolor="#000000">
<tr>
<td align="center" valign="middle"><img src="images/site map.png"
width="567" height="425" border="0" usemap="#Map" /></td>
</tr>
</table>
<p>&nbsp; </p>

<map name="Map" id="Map"><area shape="rect" coords="41,113,211,191"
href="animationmaster/index.html" />
<area shape="rect" coords="110,48,295,97" href="swift/index.html" />
<area shape="rect" coords="63,231,221,308" href="aftereffects/index.html" />
<area shape="rect" coords="245,299,354,348" href="flash/index.html" />
<area shape="rect" coords="356,223,496,296" href="premierepro/index.html" />

thank you for the replies i have it working fine now - i should have done a
search before asking as i found a previous reply that fixed it.

it was a case of setting the html, body style height to 100% and setting the
body margin, padding, border to 0 whilst centering the table content vertical
and horizontally.

thank you again
