Default cell border gaps - 07-11-2004 , 11:27 AM

hi there everyone,
i`m sure this is stupidly easy to overcome but i can`t find a solution
anywhere,
im creating a template for a site and i cant gt rid of the gaps between cells,
is there a setting somewhere where i can set cells so that i get no gaps
between images,

by the way i have NO cell padding/borders and have tryed setting cell
background colours and border colours without sucess,

thanks alot for your time, phil

url address to the page?

as a guess- you've got different sized content in the rows/columns.
or there are width or height attributes on some cells.

a row in a table will always be the height of the tallest cell in the that
row. a column will always be the width of the widest cell in the that
column (subject to the additions that colspan or rowspan will cause. But the
math must always work out)

Good luck! But pay attention to Alan's comment too - it points to another
place where things can be a bit confusing.

Not what you asked, Phil, but I find the site too dark over-all.
