Just installed Dreamweaver MX. I set up a site some time ago for a friend who uses Contribute. Using Dreamweaver 4 I can view the remote _mm and _baks folders (Just tried it again to confirm). But I can't see those folders with Dreamweaver MX. I would like to be able to view them so I can delete them in case of file corruption. Can I set Dreamweaver MX to do so? |

Also, any idea why Macromedia removed the capability to view the remote folders? |

Murray, Thanks for the fast response. You saved me much time fiddling with MX settings. May I ask a follow-up question? I understand your advice about using a 3rd party FTP program, but I am curious about accessing a site using Windows Explorer (do you mean Internet Explorer?) What do you type in the URL address bar? Also, any idea why Macromedia removed the capability to view the remote folders? Thanks again. |
