Can't view page content

I'm not a coder so please bear with me. I've been using Dreamweaver MX for
years and have just installed it on a new laptop. When I opened my home page
for editing today on the laptop, I couldn't see anything in design view except
two META tags, which are highlighted yellow ("invalid because it contains a
duplicate attribute"). I have searched for information on how to remove the
"duplicate attribute" in forums and via Google but found nothing. I deleted
the META information but still can't see any content. Here's what's most
confusing: This page displays perfectly on my desktop computer and in all
browsers. Both computers are running Windows XP. I'm at my wits end. Help
much appreciated.
