Can't view .aspx pages in MX 2004

I am responsible for updating .aspx (dot net) pages on our website. The
updates I perform only deal with text and images, not any of the code
functionality. I edit all pages on a local shared drive and then deploy them
to our live server. In my previous version of Dreamweaver (MX), I was able to
view these page in Design view and make my changes. After installing
Dreamweaver MX 2004, the page does not display correctly and I cannot see the
content sections that I make edits to. If I look in the code view, I can find
the text I am editing among the numerous links of code. Is there a reason the
display view is different between these two versions?
