Can't select text in webpage

I have just created a webpage in Dreamweaver MX 2004, using for the first time
layers, DIVs and CSS. When I went to preview the page in my browser and tried
to select some text, it decided to select the whole paragraph, not just one
word. Any suggestions for how I can correct this problem? I have never had
this problem before.

Thanks, I removed the absolute positioning and now it works happy :-)
