Can't restore down, only minimize or maximize

I have this strange problem with 6.0. When I try to restore down, the whole
program hides somewhere. I'm only able to maximize if I right click dw on
the taskbar. The problem happens randomly, other times, when I try restoring
down, it will work, however, it will be really small, usually only a couple
inches tall, and the whole screen wide. I checked the MM website but I
didn't see any updates.

Update DMX6.0 to DMX6.1 at your earliest convenience. It's here -

Thanks, I just downloaded and updated to 6.1 but I still can't just
minimize. I even tried changing workspaces with no luck. :/

I figured that it was a problem with the registry, but couldn't find the
values. I poked around the Internet a bit and found a solution. Here it is:

- Open Regedit

- Go to \HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Macromedia\Dreamweaver 6\Settings

- There is a Value called "MDI Windows Placement"

I don't know the exact meaning of these values but they set the window sizes
and positions at startup.

- I found some old values in my backup and entered these, it worked fine. Just
change the values in "MDI Windows Placement" to the values below and start
Dreamweaver.

0,1,-1,-1,-1,-1,76,35,1280,964

I had really strange values like -32000 in there. After you replace them, be
sure to reboot right away. Do NOT open DW or it will overwrite the changes you
just made. Everything should work just fine from them on.

The easier way is just to right click an empty space on the task bar and
choose one of the Tile Window options.
