Can't open MX products on Mac -- please help!

None of my Macromedia Studio MX 2004 products will open now. The icons
just bounce in the dock for a while, then get stuck somewhere before the
splash screen.

I've seen this problem described a lot in the Macromedia groups.
Everyone suggests running the HotFix, and that seems to fix the problem
about half the time. But I haven't found any answer for when that
doesn't work. I've tried the HotFix, tried trashing all Macromedia files
and reinstalling, tried repairing permissions. Nothing has helped.

Dreamweaver worked fine last time I used it, a month or two ago. I'm
using the latest versions of all the apps, I think. I know DW was at
7.0.1. I'm using Mac system 10.3.5 on a G4.
