can't import xls file into dreamweaver cs4

When i was using cs3, I was able to import an excel or word document into my
html file. Im now using cs4, and the excel and word options are greyed out in
File/Import. I checked preferences but dont see a way to allows these files to
import. Any help on this? Thank you.

That may be because copy from Excel and Word and paste into Dreamweaver
was improved. Does that work?
