Cannot Update Dreamweaver MX2004

I have attempted to download and intsall the updater found at this link:
http://www.macromedia.com/support/dreamweaver/downloads_updaters.html

It downloads, but when I attempt to install, it informs me that "DreamWeaver
2004 MX is not installed in the specified folder". In reality, it IS. I have
tried to point the installation at several folders in and around the
Macromedia/DreamWeaver directory, but to no avail. Anyone know what this is?IS

when you launch dreamweaver, what version number is showing on the splash
screen?

Version 7.0.1 .....i guess that might be the issue? Is my version completely updated out of the box? I just bought it last week. If this is the case, I am a bit embarrassed... =(
