If I make my site so it can be looked at in as many different browsers as possible, and in as many different monitor sizes (800x600, 1024x768, 1280x1024), is there a way to make my LAYERS expand to match the tables of the page? The problem is that I have layers as drop down menus, and while they look great in 800x600 they look out of proportion in the bigger resolutions. AND the snap function lines them up differently because the ratio between the tables and layers gets thrown off. So I guess Im asking if there is a way to keep the ratio of table size to layer size the same in all of the different screen sizes. The particular page Im talking about in this case is... www.americanheritageoutdoors.com/huntingmontana.htm Thanks |

My layers arnt placed inside of a table. I learned that lesson thanks to Nadia and Murray. lol My layers are placed outside of my tables, but are being snapped to images (menu headers) so that when you scroll over the image the drop down menu appears. The problem is that when I do it I set them to fit in a 800x600 screen. But when someone uses a bigger screen than that the layers stay the same size while the tables they are floating over expand (the tables are set to 100%). So my question would be how can I make my layers expand just like my tables? |
