Default Bug in Dreamweaver - 03-23-2009 , 06:22 AM

I did not know where else to let you know of this, as I am using the 30 day
trial version of Dreamweaver CS4,,, I have a site that I have built, and
checked in all browsers but the header is not showing for some reason only in
Dreamweavers 'live view'

I have uploaded the file to my forum site to show you what I have
http://www.webprocafe.com/etw.zip ( this will be there for one week from today )

operating system info
windows vista 34bit ... latest, and up to date

thank you

Can you upload the file itself rather than the zipped version?

No doubt there is a coding error on the page somewhere (that will typically
cause things to drop from DW's Design view).

Your content is nearly the same color as your background. But what is it
you are expecting to see that you do not?

If you mean this -

<h1>Web Design in Sittingbourne, Kent.</h1>

I see it in both live view and design view.

By the way -

<div id="left_search">
<label>
<input name="textfield" type="text" id="textfield" />
</label>

That search element will not work properly unless it's contained within a
<form> tag.

Seems to show up in live view here on Mac, assuming its the head_hold
<div> you're taking about?

Not likely either one - I'm on Vista in my testing, but of course, I see no
images. Can you post a link to the LIVE page?

thats as live as it gets at the moment..

as I said, its not a browser problem and its not a coding problem, so it
leaves me to conclude that its a dreamweaver problem... not rendering it
properly in 'live view'

That's also as much help as you will get without being able to see the page.

This does not indict Dreamweaver, however. It could be an operational
problem, too, which we could determine by actually seeing the page. I say
this mostly because I am not aware of any such "live view" problems....
