[Bug?] CSS white-space:pre ignored in design view - 11-04-2005 , 03:54 PM

DW8 design view completely ignores white-space

This is rendered in design view as:

a b c d

If this isn't a bug I'd like a pointer to the spec that says
it's OK to render it like this :-)
