Default Browser Conflict - 07-22-2004 , 02:29 PM

I'm getting the following errors:
Unsupported value for the ALIGN attribute of the TABLE tag. [Microsoft IE for
Macintosh 5.2, Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.0, Microsoft Internet Explorer
5.5, Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0, Netscape Navigator 6.0]

AND

The height attribute of the TABLE tag is not supported. [Netscape Navigator
7.0, Safari 1.0]

How do I resolve these issies? They look fine in IE, but not in Safari.
Please advise ASAP. Thanks.

Well, you don't. They're not supported attributes with the particular
doctype that you are using.

You really shouldn't ever depend on the HEIGHT attribute for tables.
Instead, pad the table with something to force it to that height, or, better
yet, design the page so a specific height isn't a major issue.
