Default Browser-accessable photo gallery--3rd party? - 11-01-2004 , 01:28 PM

Hi--

Does anyone have any recommendations? Customer (bar owner) wants his DJ to be able to put party images on his site.

Thanks, Kathy

What kind of server? If it's something which supports PHP, there's
Singapore:

http://singapore.sourceforge.net/

Minigal by T. Rybak http://www.minigal.dk/download.php freeware, flat file
(no SQL), terribly fast to set up and easy to use Moron proof (anyone who
actually calls themselves a "DJ" is likely to be the most terrible
kind of moron) give them the admin URL and password, and they can add images
till there's no space left on the server i actually use this for amny of my
clients who have problems sending email, and they "get it" right off
the bat. Lovely programming by Mr. Rybak

Has anyone used (or know of) a subscription service with a second server
handling all the image storage? ( a service, that I access through the site,
but is really a separate site, with image-upload capabilities.) THANKS again.
I don't have enough experience to do PHP, maybe asp.... But a subscription
would be a simple solution. Kathy

Did you look at Singapore? At its simplest, it's drop and go - unzip the
files, upload, use.
