Default borders work differently in browsers - 12-02-2005 , 01:11 PM

Hello,

I am trying to use a border in my main content cell (this is set up as a css
rule). They seem to work great if I use divs, but when using them with tables,
they seem to work intermittently. Safari shows them and IE sometimes does, but
usually not, although it will show them in an inner table sometime.
Occasionally I will make a little change elsewhere in the css code (like
changing a font size), and they will suddenly show up. Are there any browser
specs about borders, or are they meant to work all the time?

They will work cross-browser. Can you show the code youre using because
its obviously incorrect somewhere.

Sorry, I just had an idiotic moment (or a couple days, I guess). I found the
problem - the border colours were missing in my rule. The funny thing is that
it was working in Safari. Oh well. They're working now. Thanks for the help.
