blank space before text

on a few of my pages i have blank space above where the text begins....and only
on PCs as far as i can tell. i've tried removing height attribute with no luck.

whenever i try to add text to the top of the cells in question i get the blank
space and can't undo. i have no idea what's going on? could my style sheet have
something to do with it?

we're trying to launch the site soon. any help would be much appreciated.

DANGER, WILL ROBINSON! DANGER!!

This is what we commonly refer to as Layout Hell. Satan resides in Layout
View and he has reared his ugly head in your very very scary table code. You
have about 40 problems (at least) in the code of those pages. It's a lovely
design and it deserves to be treated like one.

I suggest you start the heck over in Design View and NEVER RETURN to that
evil place again! You have empty cells, multiple colspans and rowspans
(which, incidentally is what is causing your problem, read this to
understand why: http://www.apptools.com/rants/spans.php), table/cell heights
and widths...need I go on?

This is a seriously beautiful design. You gotta do something with that code
to make it worth of the design. It's a daunting task, but it will be worth
it!
