Bitmaps

My department recently upgraded to Dreamweaver 8. I am building several pages
and when I insert a bitmap image, the image does not appear. What I get in
place of the image is the "broken link" image. The application was pushed out
to my desktop. Is there some setting I'm missing?

You mean you are using *.bmp images? They don't work on the web and for
sure not in DW, I don't think....
