Templates will be your bugaboo here. DMX templates, or legacy templates
which have had their regions edited by DMX will be unusable in DW4. In
addition, DMX design notes give DW4 a big headache.
In my opinion, it's risky.

We are upgrading our clients. Some clients are still using Dreamweaver v4
while others are using Dreamweaver MX. Has anyone run into any problems
taking
created in Dreamweaver v4 or v6 and using them in Dreamweaver MX 2004? I
would
like to take clients directly from Dreamweaver 4 to Dreamweaver MX 2004 if
possible without interim conversion steps. |
