background image but not repeating

hello. I know i can place images inside tables for example as a background
image but how do i stop it from tiling/repeating ? so if i had an image in the
top left of a table that was a background image to allow text over the top how
would i stop the image from repeating ? many thanks carl

table { background-repeat:no-repeat;}

will do the trick in your stylesheet.
