Background colour of table cell on rollover

HI, is there a way of changing the colour of a table cells background upon
mouse rollover atall please?
Normall I just use rollover images, but if it can be done another way, then
great!? CSS?

In recent browsers the above will work, for IE you'll need a workaround
(JavaScript).
