Default Autosizing of pages - 07-16-2003 , 02:27 PM

Good afternoon,
Lately, I have been noticing a lot of sites that will size according to the users settings. I.e. 800x600, 1024x768, etc. I was wondering what I need to do for this to happen. Does anyone have any ideas?

Thanks,
Brian

Design your tables/divs/spans using percentages instead of fixed widths.

Thanks Darrel,
That's how I typically design my pages. What I've been seeing appears that the grapics, as well as the page dimensions adjust. Maybe it's just my eyes... I wish that I had some URL's off the top of my head to refer you to.

Thanks again,
Brian

Graphics really aren't scalable. You can do a bit with HTML, but the results
are typically shoddy. Flash resizes well, but, again, any raster images will
have the same problem.

If you have a specific URL, that's what we'd need to see.
