ASP debug

I use Notepad to write .asp files. Could Dreamweaver Ultradev help me to debug?

Why dont you use dreamweaver to write your ASp files ? ...just a thought.

Debugging ASP has a rather ambiguous meaning - running it in a browser you
mean and waiting for an error ?
It's not like you can step through the code with Dreamweaver (or any other
tools as far as i know)

There's not a lot of difference between using Notepad or Dreamweaver to
purely code ASP files. I think the only tool with design-time debugging for
ASP is Visual Interdev. Otherwise, one would use the browser like everyone
else

Actually, there's a big difference between Notepad and Dreamweaver when it
comes to ASP; code colouring =) I'm one of those people that, when
searching for a specific line or lines of code, looks for colour first and
code second. So for me anyway, Notepad just does not suffice.
