Hi, I'm currently undertaking a website redesign. I am making full use
of the
Apply Template command however I am repeating it for every page
seperately. I
was wondering if there was the facility in Dreamweaver MX, or MX 2004
for that
matter, to apply a single template to multiple pages in the site in some
sort
of automated way. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks., |
you mean like CSS, unfortunately I dont know any secure manner unless you
have some really good handle of regular expressions and can do the code
insertion.
1. See the one site with the template anc review the code.
2. Do a Find and Replace and try to replace the un-templated websites with
the code you saw the initial page
3. If it doesnt work try it again.
NOTE: Zip your whole site before doing this since if it doesnt come out
like you wish, you cant go back and have to unzip your whole site again :|
