Default javascript.. - 07-11-2008 , 09:17 AM

Hi,

I have 3 links in a row, well, they aren't links yet. I'd like the end-user to
be able to click on the word, and then a javaScript pop-up window will appear
with a corresponding image.

Need some direction or a tutorial as how to achieve this; here's where I'm
confused. If I declare the javaScript in the <head> tags, and if that includes
the dimension of the image for link #1, what about the other 2? They have other
dimensions...surely, you don't paste in the javaScript declaration for each &
every link.

Please help!

LOL

Actually I was simply going to suggest the OP use the built-in

Open Browser Window Behavior

for these few images.

To do this, select the text, add "javascript:;" to the Link field in the
Property Inspector. Click on the <a> tag that is now on the Tag
Selector Bar. Go to the Behaviors Window, click the + icon and select
Open Browser Window.

When you are done adding these to your page, you MIGHT want to then go
get my FREE DW Extension to instantly and easily fix the inherent flaws
in the DW behavior.
