Default Apartment site check please.. - 07-08-2003 , 06:39 PM

Could I possibly get a quick site check on this site I have done - http://www.lascoronas10.has.it .
It is used as an information base for visitors to my family's newly aquire apartment in Lanzarote.

Looks pretty clean to me. I like the header graphic.

Just a couple of notes:

1-Probably your target audience knows it, but I would put "Canary Islands"
on the home page so I knew what we were talking about.

2-If I'm a prospective customer (and I am, cause I've leased condos from
websites a few times) i would get turned off by the eBay pop-up.

3- I think the main content cell on the home pages should be full, and I
also think that the photo on that page, while interesting, doesn't give me a
representative, attractive view of either your unit or the resort.

4- The overline hover state is unusual and attention-getting, but its
unusual nature doesn't serve any good purpose IMHO, esp. on the Links page
where you use a traditional hover state on the linked items.

Thanks for the comments John, all taken on board.

As my target audience for this site will mainly be family and friends, plus the odd person reffered from the Property Management
company I am not too fussed about the Ebay pop up. That however is a problem of using FREE url forwarding, provided by www.has.it .

As for the other points, I will sort the hover states out asap and also I do plan to change the image on the home page and add some
more content, I only started the site at 13:00 on 8th July, so haven't had it up long ;o)
