Ants, Did you see this?

I want to be know how they did do this? I did create an ant just for fun and
chance to win ipod.
However, was this created with a Macromedia product?

I noticed an ant with the name of Dan Mode in Utah. Is that our Dan
Mode? Anyway I killed it.

Hi

It's not necessarily created using flash there are a few other products out
there which do this sort of thing. It's just been "compiled" inot flash.
Some software offeres you the choice of converting your animation to Gif,
flash etc although flash is the best.

As to the animation it's in animation terms not that complex. probably uses
a single sprite movement to create the legs for each ant. Once you've got
that then you just dupicate the single ant and then give each one a looped
path sequence. Time consuming and I've always admired the guys who turn this
sort of quality thing out.

It looks like it was created with Shockwave or Flash....both Macromedia products.

Yup, that is me. I thought I'd try and win an iPod for a $1.

ants and they were still multipling like there was no tomorrow.

No. If they introduce an ant-eater I might consider buy one of those though.
